Memorial Day Service - Ogden
The George E. Wahlen Veterans Home will hold a Memorial Day Service that includes music, a white dove release, a presentation by Retired General Bruce Carlson, USAF, flag ceremony and gun salute by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard. After the ceremony, all Veterans and guests are invited into the Multi-Purpose Room for refreshments.

Johnston's Army Adventure Camp
Visitors experience camp life and participate in several activities performed by soldiers of Johnston's Army. Events include reenactments, encampments, storytelling, stagecoach rides, firearm and cannon demonstrations, marches, drills, 1861 period games, and photos in period uniform. Memorial Day Celebration

Memorial Day Service
Provo City will hold a Memorial Day Service that will include musical numbers by the Timpview High School Band and the Covey Center's youth a cappella group FreQuency. Miss Provo, Kaitlin Purse will give the Pledge of Allegiance, and a wreath-laying ceremony will be led by Provo Mayor John Curtis. Keynote speaker will be Mayor General John M. Hafen, Utah Air National Guard, Retired. There will be a re-dedication of the Veteran's Monument, a 21-gun salute by the Metro SWAT and "Taps" bugle call by Timp View High School Band. In the event of bad weather, the service will be held at the Covey Center for the Arts, 425 W. Center Street.

Memorial Day Dedication
Helper City will dedicate a newly constructed granite monument in honor of fallen veterans on Memorial Day. Charles Hamilton, President of Stella D'America, State Sen. David Hinkins and the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church will do the rededication.
