Utah athletes improving in the classroom

Utah's athletic teams set a department record for their highest cumulative GPA for the spring semester. The teams averaged a 3.153 GPA for the spring, up from their previous high of 3.136 in the spring of 2012. According to the school's release, 278 out of 434 athletes made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll with a GPA of 3.0 or better for 2012-13. - Lya Wodraska
