Grizzlies beat Bees on sacrifice fly

The host Fresno Grizzlies scored on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning to beat the Salt Lake Bees 9-8 in a Pacific Coast League game Saturday night. Salt Lake reliever Ryan Brasier took the loss, giving up three runs on five hits over 21⁄3 innings.

Fresno's Roger Kieschnick drove in the winning run with a bases-loaded fly ball with nobody out in the 10th.

Salt Lake's Cole Calhoun hit a three-run homer in the first inning, and the Bees surged to a 7-1 lead in the second as Tommy Field hit a two-run single, and Efren Navarro added an RBI double.

The Bees committed three errors and gave up two unearned runs in the game.
