Columbus, Ohio • Bernardo Anor's early goal helped the Columbus Crew defeat Portland 1-0 on Sunday to end the Timbers' 15-game unbeaten streak.

Portland (7-2-9) had gone 7-0-8 since March 9 while the Crew (6-8-5) ended a three-game losing streak.

Anor scored in the fourth minute off a restart from Federico Higuain with a snap header from 6 yards to the inside of the left post.

Columbus' Aaron Schoenfeld drew the penalty and a red card to Pa-Modou Kah in the 11th when the defender stuck his right foot into the face of Schoenfeld.

Sporting K.C. 2, Fire 1 • In Bridgeview, Ill., Benny Feilhaber and Graham Zusi scored in the first eight minutes, and Sporting Kansas City snapped Chicago's three-match winning streak.

Mike Magee cut the margin to 2-1 in the 38th minute.

Impact 1, Chivas USA 1 • In Montreal, Patrice Bernier scored from the penalty spot in the 80th minute, and the Impact salvaged the tie.

Eric Avila scored for Chivas (3-10-4).

Rapids 0, D.C. United 0 • In Commerce City, Colo., Joe Willis earned his first shutout, and D.C. United tied Colorado despite being blanked for the 12th time this season.

Galaxy 2, FC Dallas 0 • In Carson, Calif., Marcelo Sarvas and Hector Jimenez scored in the second half.
