A semi-trailer crashed and burned on Interstate 15 on Friday morning about 10 miles south of Brigham City. The driver escaped without injury.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the semi-trailer, registered to Associated Foods, was southbound near mile post 357 about 5:20 a.m. when it drifted into a guard rail and cement wall on the Willard Bay overpass.
"The contact caused the fuel tank on the truck to rupture and the semi jack-knifed and caught on fire, blocking both southbound lanes of I-15," Johnson said.
