A deputy with the Grand County Sheriff's Office was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide along with other felonies.
A press release from the Moab City Police Department states that Timothy Brewer was booked into jail early Friday morning on multiple felonies for an altercation that police said was domestic violence-related.
Police responded to the incident shortly after midnight, and Brewer was later booked into the San Juan County Jail. He was booked on attempted homicide, a first degree felony, third-degree felony aggravated assault, and two counts of third-degree felony domestic violence in the presence of a child. He also was booked on lesser counts of assault on a police officer, intoxication and disorderly conduct, all class A misdemeanors.
