George Lopez playing Maverik Center Dec. 14; tickets on sale Friday

He's been a talk-show host, a sitcom star and a cartoon voice. But mostly George Lopez is a stand-up comedian who can fill a big room.

On Saturday, Dec. 14, the big room Lopez will be filling will be the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

Tickets for Lopez' concert go on sale this Friday via TicketMaster. Prices range from $41 to $56.

Lopez' self-titled sitcom aired six seasons on ABC. His talk show "Lopez Tonight" ran for two seasons on TBS. He has done voice work for "Rio," "The Smurfs" and "Beverly Hills Chihuhua," and appeared in the films "Valentine's Day," "Swing Vote" and "Henry Poole Is Here." He has been nominated twice for Grammys in the comedy category.

Lopez' stand-up act is recommended for audiences 18 and older. Bryan Kellen is the opening act.
