Southern Utah has hired Chad Bell and Yahosh Bonner as assistants on the men's basketball coaching staff. Bell is a full-time assistant while Bonner will serve as Director of Basketball Operations.

Bell spent the past two seasons on the Nevada Wolf Pack coaching staff, serving as a graduate assistant in 2011-12 and as director of basketball operations last season.

Bonner played varsity basketball as a sophomore at Cedar High School in 2002-03 before his family moved to Arizona. He played at Salt Lake Community College and the University of Northern Colorado. In 2009-10 he was named the Big Sky Conference's Defensive Player of the Year.
