A man died in an ATV crash Monday in Sanpete County.

The man, 60, was driving an ATV on Manti Canyon road when he went down an embankment about 4:40 p.m. about 3 miles below Skyline Drive, deputies wrote in a press release.

Crews found the man had died; the ATV had pinned him against a tree on the embankment, deputies wrote.

A child also was on the ATV when it crashed; she was thrown from the vehicle but was in good condition Monday night.
