I have just received my property tax statement. I could not believe it went up more than $60.

We pay a lot of taxes for the schools but we are unable to use them. Square dancers have used some schools for more than 50 years. Now the cost is so high we cannot afford to be there any more.

The Rocketeers Club has used the Horizon School for more than 50 years, and the Rainbow Squares have used Woods Cross High for more than 20 years. Now they have doubled the fee.

The building sits there empty. It is a shame when the rooms could be used. We do not smoke or drink and we keep the building nice and clean. Rocketeers contribute a lot of money for the kids' needs every year. We all pay our taxes. Give us a break.
