Plans for tonight: A night with Gogol Bordello

• Gypsy-punk band Gogol Bordello performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $30, at Smith's Tix or 24Tix.

• '90s indie-rock band Sebadoh performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Octa#Grape. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $14, at 24Tix.

• An outdoor screening of Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" happens at the Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. (Tonight's screening is to make up for a July screening at Gallivan that was done in by a weirdly appropriate thunderstorm.) Presented by the Utah Film Center. Show starts at dusk (around 9 p.m.). Free.
