You may want to steer clear of the Lehi stretch of northbound Interstate 15 this weekend.

Utah Department of Transportation officials said northbound I-15 between the Main Street and 2100 North exits to Lehi would be reduced to just two lanes as construction work is done in the right lanes.

The traffic restrictions were scheduled to begin 8 p.m. Friday and continue through Monday 6 a.m.

UDOT urged motorists driving through the area to use State Street (U.S. 89) as an alternate route.
