Rocky Mountain Power crews were out Thursday morning working to restore electrical service to more than 2,300 customers in the Lake Point and Stansbury Park areas.

The outage was reported about 8 a.m. A cause was not immediately determined, but it may have been related to excavation work interrupting an underground line.

Rocky Mountain Power officials said that all but 29 customers were back on the grid by noon. All customers should have service restored by 3 p.m.
