With a cumulative grade-point average of 3.69, it turns out the Utah gymnastics team also hit the books as well as the beam. The team finished third in the nation in team GPA in 2012-13.

Twelve 12 Ute gymnasts, along with two student coaches, were named Scholar All-Americans by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches.

Utah's team GPA and its total number of Scholar All-Americans led the Pac-12 and was the best of the teams that qualified into the 2013 NCAA Championships. The gymnasts also recorded the best GPA of any Utah team in 2012-13.

Utah returns 13 letterwinners and nine All-Americans from last year's team.
