Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams will hold the first of what are envisioned to be quarterly "open door" meetings with the public on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
While walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, McAdams spokeswoman Michelle Schmitt said advance appointments may be arranged by calling the mayor's office, 385-468-7000.
"I want to hear what's on the minds of Salt Lake County residents," McAdams said of the one-on-one discussions. "These open-door meetings are a way for people to let me know, as mayor, what's working or not working."
