Here we go again, shades of 2003, when Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld told us with utter assurance that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and only an invasion by the United States would prevent him from using them. But, 10 years later, with tens of thousands dead, billions spent and Iraq still a shambles politically, we know how that venture turned out.
Now Obama, Biden and Kerry, without a shred of proof as to which side used chemical weapons, are fired up to illegally attack a sovereign nation before the U.N. inspectors have analyzed their findings.
In fact, sounding just like his smug, now thoroughly discredited predecessors, Kerry has indicated that the U.N. investigation "would have no bearing" on Washington's decisions. What hubris!
