Plans for tonight: Brigit Mendler at the Fair

• The Utah State Fair continues, at the Utah State Fairpark, 1000 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City. Tonight's grandstand entertainment is Disney Channel star Brigit Mendler, at 7:30; tickets are $27, available on the fair website. Gates open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10, $7 for seniors and kids 6 to 11, free for children 5 and under.

• The RedEye Tour 2013 – featuring hip-hop artists Sir Michael Rocks, Young Roddy, Cornerboy P and Fiend4DaMoney – lands at The Project, 258 W. 700 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $15, at Smith's Tix or 24Tix.

• Country singer Charley Jenkins performs at the Sandy Amphitheater, 9400 S. 1300 East, Sandy. Show starts at 8. Tickets, from $10 to $16, available at Smith's Tix.
