A man who wandered away from a care facility Thursday morning was located later that same day.

A passerby saw Jon Barry Drake, 68, sitting on a bus stop bench near 100 South and 100 East Thursday about 6:30 p.m., according to Salt Lake City Detective Veronica Montoya. Drake was uninjured and did not know anyone had been looking for him.

Drake had last been seen about 7:45 a.m. that same day at a care facility on the 100 South block of 1000 East.
