Two people were critically hurt in a Salt Lake City motorcycle crash Sunday evening.

The motorcycle crashed into a wall on westbound Interstate 80 near mile post 117, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Both people on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash occurred about 9:40 p.m., according to Salt Lake City dispatchers.

UHP was still investigating the crash Sunday night and could not immediately provide further details except that no other vehicle was involved.
