• The Utah Symphony performs Berlioz's "The Damnation of Faust," tonight and Saturday at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Thierry Fischer conducts the symphony; the Utah Symphony Chorus also performs, with mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey, tenor Michael Spyres , baritone Roderick Williams, bass-baritone Adam Cioffari, and soprano Tara Stafford-Spyres. The Flashback Music Festival brings the oldies Saturday to the Utah State Fairpark, 1000 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City. Kenny Loggins headlines; other acts are: KC & The Sunshine Band, Three Dog Night, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Foghat and Hotel California — A Salute to The Eagles.
