On Sept. 21 at 6:20 p.m, I was heading downtown from the 5200 South TRAX Station and tried to buy a ticket. One of the two ticket machines was inoperative.

Hours later on my return trip from Temple Square Station, two of three ticket machines were inoperative.

In the past I have experienced no ticket machines operable at stations.

This is very stressful for UTA patrons waiting in line for tickets while missing trains.

I request UTA fix current problems before asking for higher fares and taxes.
