Cheney, Wash. • Vernon Adams threw for four touchdowns and ran for another as Eastern Washington rolled to a 41-19 win over Weber State in a Big Sky Conference game Saturday night.

Adams had three scoring throws and a rushing touchdown in the first half as the Eagles (3-2, 1-0 Big Sky) opened up a 27-12 lead. Freshman Cooper Kupp had the first two scores, covering 50 and 27 yards, giving him nine touchdowns among 22 catches this season. Adams found Ashton Clark for a 14-yard TD reception for the third.

Demitrius Bronson scored on a 9-yard run and Adams hit Mario Brown for 6 yards in the third quarter.
