The first of many expected preseason honors for BYU guard Tyler Haws has rolled off the presses. The junior was named to the Lute Olsen Preseason All-America Team on Tuesday. The Lute Olson Award will be presented to the nation's top Division I player who has played at least two seasons with his respective team. It is presented by CollegeInsider.com. Haws was seventh in the nation in scoring last season, averaging 21.7 points per game. He was only the fifth BYU player to finish among the nation's top 10 in scoring. Haws was also recently named to the College Sports Madness Preseason All-High Major First Team. Also, freshman Eric Mika was picked as the Preseason All-High Major Preseason Freshman of the Year.
