Standard and Poors estimates the economy lost $24 billion shamefully credited to Mike Lee and Ted Cruz and the tea party. What hypocrites to arrogantly profess to love America yet hurt millions of Americans, without remorse, regret or shame, like sociopaths on a self-aggrandizing crusade, due to some sort of warped idea of how to strengthen America.

Lee and Cruz are purveyors of misery, selling their hate of the federal government and President Obama to the fringes of the worst element of the greedy and hateful among us. Defund Obamacare? There must be some other motivation.

Thank God for President Obama and all the other presidents who have come before him, who recognized the free market in America works exceedingly well, yet there are holes that must be fixed. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid help America and the middle class. Health care is essential to Americans, not just the wealthy. Getting rid of caps in medical coverage, eliminating the barrier of pre-existing conditions, providing for affordable coverage.

President Obama should send Lee and Cruz the bill for their misguided government shutdown.
