A semi-truck toppled over early Monday morning and was blocking southbound Interstate 15 near Leeds.

A construction zone had narrowed I-15 to one lane near mile marker 24 overnight. About 1:30 a.m., the driver was heading south when he approached the zone, drifted and crashed into concrete barriers, which caused it to fall over onto its left side, said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson.

The driver had only minor injuries. Troopers do not suspect alcohol or drugs were involved, Johnson said.

But the semi, which was taking empty beer bottles to a distributor, was blocking the southbound lanes. Troopers set up a detour around the spot.
