Utes won't be intimidated by USC, linebacker says

USC's football team is going through a trying time of late, but the program is still recognized as one of the nation's long-time best, with the Trojans having won 11 national titles, going to 31 bowl games and producing six Heisman trophy winners in addition to 462 NFL players. All of the winning history and tradition can be a bit intimidating for opponents, but the Utes haven't played against the Trojans like they were some wide-eyed team that couldn't believe it was on the same field as USC. I was particularly impressed with the way the Utes handled themselves two years ago when they made their first trip as a Pac-12 team to USC, losing 23-14. The Utes played well enough to make an upset a possibility for them. The Trojans returned a blocked field goal attempt for a touchdown at the end of the game, making the final margin larger than it really was. As for this year's team, linebacker Jared Norris doesn't think the Utes will be intimidated by USC's setting. You can check out his thoughts on it in the video. - Lya Wodraska
