Phoenix • With the home crowd behind them, the Utah Jazz pushed one of the league's best teams to the brink on opening night.

The Jazz won't have that advantage Friday night when they take play their first road game of the regular season, taking on the Phoenix Suns at U.S. Airways Center. The game tips at 8 p.m. MT and will be televised on ROOT Sports.

"We have to go to another level," Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said. "We have to make sure that we understand how to play on the road, and the mistakes you may be able to get away with at home won't work on the road."

Twenty-two of those mistakes Wednesday were turnovers, leading to 25 points for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

That will only be compounded on the road, Corbin said.

"They can get runs from it," Corbin said. "The crowd gets into it. They can get a momentum swing."

The Suns already are trying to speed up their play under former Jazz assistant Jeff Hornacek. The Jazz will have to play against a smaller lineup that looks to push the ball and isn't afraid to pull up for early 3s.

Corbin once again has just 10 healthy players from which to choose. Center Andris Biedrins, forwards Jeremy Evans, Brandon Rush and Marvin Williams, and point guard Trey Burke will not play due to injury.

The Jazz will stick with the same starting lineup they used on opening night: John Lucas III, Gordon Hayward, Richard Jefferson, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter.
