Phoenix • When the Utah Jazz scrimmaged in practices over the last couple of years, Jeff Hornacek was the man coaching up the team's youngsters.

Hornacek, now the head coach in Phoenix, hopes Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter and Alec Burks have forgotten the things he taught them - for one night at least.

"These guys are all great players and to watch them go form their rookie years to where they are now is, except for when we play them tonight, exciting to watch because I think they are very good and they have bright futures."

Jazz coach Ty Corbin acknowledged Hornacek is "very familiar with what we're doing."

"But it's like any other team - they scout you," he said. "He has a little more in-depth insight because he has been here. We have to play against them and they have to play against us. Let's both throw it up and see what happens."

Hornacek will start the same lineup he used earlier this week against Portland to get his first win as an NBA head coach: Eric Bledsoe, Goran Dragic, P.J. Tucker, Channing Frye and Miles Plumlee.

The Jazz will start John Lucas III, Hayward, Richard Jefferson, Favors and Kanter.

The game tips at 8 p.m. MT and is televised on ROOT Sports.
