Brian Head Resort to fire up ski lifts Friday

Brian Head Resort will open Friday, the third Utah ski resort to turn on lifts for the 2013-14 season.

Early-season tickets will cost $25 for adults and $18 for children and seniors at the resort outside of Parowan in southwestern Utah.

Solitude and Brighton resorts opened last week.
