Short-track speedskater J.R. Celski won his second individual medal of the weekend Sunday in the final World Cup event of the season in Russia, and helped the Americans win another gold medal in the men's 5,000-meter relay.

Celski earned bronze in the 1,000 meters, the day after winning gold in the 1,500 and cementing himself as the top American medal threat at the upcoming Sochi Olympics.

The relay team —with Eddy Alvarez, Chris Creveling and Jeff Simon joining Celski — has won two golds and a silver in four races on the World Cup circuit this season, making it a favorite to win in Sochi three months from now.
