Logan police have identified the man hit in a crosswalk Monday morning, who still remained in intensive care on Tuesday night.

Tarique Fasih Zaman, 33, of Logan was crossing 400 North at 200 East at 11:15 a.m. Monday when a truck driver going north turned left and, failing to see Zaman, struck him, according to the police. Zaman was knocked to the ground and apparently suffered head trauma.

He was taken to Logan Regional Hospital in an ambulance and was later flown to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. Hospital staff have not released his condition, according to a police news release.

The accident is still under investigation and citations are pending.
