Boise, Idaho • The Idaho Steelheads scored a power-play goal 10:31 into the third period to defeat the Utah Grizzlies 2-1 in ECHL play Wednesday night.

Utah's Mathieu Aubin scored in the second period to tie the game 1-1. The Grizzlies outshot the Steelheads 11-4 during the period.

During a four-on-four situation in the third period, Utah was called for too many men on the ice, and an ensuing bench penalty on coach Tim Branham resulted in a 5-on-3 power play for Idaho, which capitalized for the game-winner. Ben Meisner stopped 19 shots for the Grizzlies.
