Six soldiers returned to Utah on Thursday after a nine-month deployment in Afghanistan.

Two pilots and four crew members assigned to Detachment 50, Operational Support Airlift, of the Utah Army National Guard, arrived at Salt Lake International Airport. Detachment 50 flew equipment in its C-12 Huron.

On Saturday, about 60 soldiers from the Utah Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation, will depart on a one-year deployment to Kosovo.
