Plans for tonight: Lissie goes folk

• Country artists Ty Herndon and Anita Cochran perform at "Under the Mistletoe," playing their hits and Chirstmas songs at Club Elevate, 149 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Jackson Cash (Johnny Cash impersonator). Show starts at 7:30. Tickets, from $15 to $30, at Smith's Tix.

• Hard-rock band Smile Empty Soul performs at Liquid Joe's, 1249 E. 3300 South, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: ACIDIC, ECS, Alien Landslide. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $10, at Smith's Tix.

• Indie-folk singer Lissie performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Kopecky Family Band. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $20, at Smith's Tix or 24Tix.
