Plans for tonight: Swedish alt-rock rules

• Electro-industrial-dark wave act William Control performs at In The Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Davey Suicide, Fearless Vampire Killer. Show starts at 6. Tickets are $15, at Smith's Tix.

• The Utah Jazz play host to the Indiana Pacers at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• Alt-rock Swedish band The Royal Concept performs on its "Three of Clubs" tour, at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Misterwives, American Authors. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.

• Alternative country-rock band The Lone Bellow will perform at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Ivan & Alyosha. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $18, at the venue's website.
