Ogden police detectives are seeking "persons of interest" in the weekend shooting of a 15-year-old boy.

The motive for the Saturday night shooting at the corner of 26th Street and Madison Avenue was still being investigated Monday, but the case has been turned over to Ogden's Gang Unit, Police Lt. Steve Zaccardi said.

The teen victim remained in serious condition Monday at a local hospital with a gunshot wounds to his chest and left forearm.

"No arrests have been made yet, but we have some people we're looking for," Zaccardi said.

Identities of the persons of interest were not being released at this time.
