A former Provo resident who was shot Tuesday in a San Diego mall parking lot has died, police told the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Salvatore Belvedere, 22, was shot multiple times in the upper body, as was Ilona Flint, 22, who died before emergency crews could take her to the hospital.

Gianni Belvedere, Salvatore's brother and Flint's fiance, has been reported as a missing person after the shooting at the Westfield Mission Valley shopping center, the Union-Tribune reports, but police have not declared him a suspect.

All three attended Provo High School, according to the paper.

Police describe Gianni as 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes and may be driving a dark green 2004 Toyota Camry XLE with Utah license plate B154VZ. Anyone with information about Gianni is urged to call the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2293 or email sdcrimestoppers.com.
