A baby was on life support Monday night as his mother's boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of child abuse
The 1-year-old was not expected to survive injuries he suffered Monday near 2400 South and 800 East, according to jail documents. The child suffered "major head trauma" while he was left alone with Brian Taylor, 24, police wrote. Taylor was booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree felony child abuse.
