As reported here yesterday, The CW is done with the made-in-Utah docu-series "Breaking Pointe." There will not be a third season.

Here's what CW president Mark Pedowitz had to say in response to a question from The Salt Lake Tribune:

"It was well produced by BBC Worldwide. We're proud of it.

"It did very well for us digitally. Did not do enough on air to keep it going."

(The series struggled, rarely reaching as many as 1 million viewers per episode.)

"Ballet West in Salt Lake City, they were great partners to work with. I wish it did better, because I was a big fan of the show."

The show had its share of fans. And they are, understandably, disappointed.

Ballet West itself tweeted this out: "To our bummed out 'Breaking Pointe' fans. We love you, too!"
