Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• The Critics' Choice Awards gave top honors to "12 Years a Slave," but it's that film's young actress Lupita Nyong'o everyone is talking about for her emotional acceptance speech. [Vulture]

• Actress/comedian Lena Dunham says it's "ridiculous to engage" with a website's offer of $10,000 for unretouched versions of her Vogue cover photo shoot. [The Huffington Post]

• Two figures familiar to fans of old sitcoms have died: Actor Russell Johnson, best known for his role as The Professor on "Gilligan's Island," was 89; and Dave Madden, who played exasperated band manager Reuben Kincaid on "The Partridge Family," was 82. [CNN; Entertainment Weekly]
