Togo's to open stores in Sandy, Salt Lake

Togo's, a national sandwich franchise based in San Jose California, will open 25 new restaurant throughout the West in 2014, including two in Utah, the company announced Tuesday.

Stores are planned in Salt Lake City and Sandy as well as Colorado Springs, Boise, Portland and Phoenix, a company news release said. They will serve hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wraps and sides.

Togo's Eateries, Inc., opened in 1971 and has than 325 locations open and under development throughout the West, said Tony Gioia, chairman and CEO.
