Jerry Seiner entered the Utah auto dealership market in 1980 with the opening of Jerry Seiner Chevrolet in Salt Lake City and has been primarily known as a dealer selling General Motors vehicles to the point where the company advertised him as "The GM Guy."

Seiner's dealership expanded to selling and servicing Kia and Nissan vehicles, operating as Christopher Nissan and Christopher Kia. Those two dealerships have been renamed Jerry Seiner Kia and Jerry Seiner Nissan.

"These efforts will unify all our dealerships under the well-known and respected Jerry Seiner name and reinvigorate the brand," said Chris Hemmersmeier, owner and CEO of the Jerry Seiner Dealerships.

Under the change, the dealerships are launching a new branding campaign that includes a new logo, color palette and advertising with the tagline of "Experience the Seiner Difference."
