Olympics on TV: Hockey semis air early

Friday Olympics on TV: USA-Canada matchup isn't TOO early

The men's hockey semifinals are both live, but the games are early and earlier on the NBC Sports Network. There is good news — the USA vs. Canada game is the later of the two, at 9:45 a.m. MT.

The Finland vs. Sweden game is at 4:30 a.m. MT.

NBC DAYTIME • 2-4 p.m., Ch. 5: Women's freestyle skiing/ski cross gold medal final; women's biathlon/4x6km relay gold medal final



NBC PRIMETIME • 7-10 p.m., Ch. 5: Women's alpine skiing/slalom gold medal final; men's short track speedskating/500 m and 5000m relay gold medal finals; women's speed skating/team pursuit quarterfinals

NBC LATE NIGHT • 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., Ch. 5: men's speedskating/team pursuit quarterfinals

• 12:30-3:30 a.m., Ch. 5: Repeat of NBC primetime

NBCSN • 4:30-7:30 a.m.: Men's hockey semifinal/Finland vs. Sweden (live)

• 7:30-9:45 a.m.: Women's biathlon/4x6km relay gold medal final (live); women's freestyle skiing/ski cross gold medal final

• 9:45 a.m.-1 p.m.: Men's hockeysemifinal / USA vs. Canada (live)

• 1-3 p.m.: Hockey repeat

• 3-5 p.m.: Hockey/game of the day

• 1-2:30 a.m. (early Saturday): Men's and women's snowboarding/parallel slalom competitions

• 2:30-5:30 a.m. (early Saturday): Women's cross country skiing/30km freestyle gold medal final (live); men's and women's snowboarding/parallel slalom gold medal finals

CNBC • 3-6 p.m.: Men's curling/gold medal
