Salt Lake City police on Friday were looking for a suspect who appears to have a penchant for robbing branches of Key Bank.

The suspect — described as a white male adult, 5-foot-9, wearing a blue-gray hooded jacket, a gray mask, white gloves and a dark backpack — walked into the Key Bank at 2299 S. Highland Drive about 5 p.m. Thursday.

Indicating he had a weapon, the suspect demanded and received money from a teller before fleeing the bank on foot, heading westbound on Ashton Avenue.

Police believe the same man held up a Key Bank on Feb. 13 at 1500 S. Foothill Drive.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call SLCPD at 801-799-3000.
