Breeze sporting goods stores in Utah recently raised $5,845 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The retail and rental shops raised the money as part of the 16th annual "Adopt-A-Cause" program of Breeze's parent company, Specialty Sports Venture, a subsidiary of Vail Resorts, Inc.

The campaign at 190 Specialty Sports Venture stores in the West and Midwest raised $257,000 for 22 organizations selected by company employees. Vail Resorts matched some of those donations, adding almost $87,000 to the overall total.
