• Revolver magazine's Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock Tour — featuring Sick Puppies, Lacuna Coil, Eyes Set To Kill and Cilver — perform at The Complex, 536 W. South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6. Tickets are $30, at Smith's Tix.

• The Utah Jazz plays the Dallas Mavericks, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• Punk-rock band Bayside performs at In The Venue, 579 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Four Year Strong, Daylight, Mixtapes. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $19, at Smith's Tix and 24Tix.



• Progressive metal band Protest The Hero performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: The Safety Fire, Intervals, Night Verses. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $20, at Smith's Tix or 24Tix.
