Utah's relatively mild winter means good news for golfers who enjoy playing at the base of the Wasatch back in Midway.

Utah State Parks' announced that the Soldier Hollow Silver Course and Wasatch Lake Course will open Friday. Spring season rates at $38 for 18 holes and $20 for nine.

According to the Utah Department of Natural Resources' Facebook site, the Soldier Hollow Gold and Wasatch Mountain courses will open as soon as weather and conditions allow.

For tee times, golfers can log on to http://www.soldierhollowgolf.com or http://www.wasatchgolfcourse.com. They can also call Soldier Hollow at 435-654-7442 or Wasatch Mountain at 435-654-0532.
