Here's what's being talked about this St. Patrick's Day in pop culture:

• Ryan Gosling will produce a biopic of the extravagant filmmaker Busby Berkeley — and might portray him. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• A New York theater that does one of those "movies for moms" program is including Lars von Trier's sex-filled "Nymphomaniac, Part 1" on its list of movies that babies can attend for free. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Nirvana's original drummer, Chad Channing, won't be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the band. [Radio.com]
