Happy Friday. Political observers have said so, polls have said so and now President Barack Obama has said so about the upcoming mid-term elections: Democrats are in trouble. Obama told a crowd of donors that Dems "get clobbered" in such elections and asked for their help in this year's races as the party faces the possibility of losing control of the Senate. [Politico]
Topping the news: A British court has tossed a supposed fraud case against LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson, ruling that the justice system would not be used to attack the beliefs of others. [Trib]
