Another water main leak is forcing repair crews to narrow Foothill Drive to one lane from Monday through Tuesday morning.

The southbound lanes will slim down near 2100 East. City officials urge commuters to avoid the area while a crew deals with the water main, according to a University of Utah news release.

An aging water main near the university also broke late last month, which also forced road closures and a lengthy cleanup. That main broke on Foothill Drive near 1180 South, according to Salt Lake City spokesman Art Raymond.
